This Could be Everything, by Eva Rice - John

This was the first book I have read by Eva Rice, and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. Her attention to detail alongside such descriptive writing, really allowed me to immerse myself into the minds of the characters and their surroundings. Eva manages to capture the essence of those most powerful human emotions, of grief and love, the former of which we don’t talk about often enough. She perfectly describes the messy and painful experience of loss, its insidiousness, whilst at the same time conveying a humour and light-heartedness to her characters.

I also liked the quirkiness of being able to listen to a soundtrack compiled to reflect the era and the bond that the two sisters, February and Diana shared. One of those books that enraptured me from start to finish, and I really did struggle to put it down.
