The Magic Hour, by David Wolstencroft - Louis

Everybody knows that there are 24 hours in the day, except for Alisa Craig’s friend, Credenza. Credenza thinks there are 25 hours in a day … one of them is the magic hour, between 11 and 12 pm.

This book only lasts an hour. Each chapter is a minute in the magic hour (yes, there are 60 chapters).

This is a really adventurous book. Lots happens during the magic hour.! There is literally a different adventure every minute (or chapter). The two main characters are Alisa and Credenza and they get transported to a different place every minute. They have adventures, come across monsters, and help at tragic accidents.

My favourite minute (or chapter) was the Tally Folk one, because they had a special room, and when Alisa went into the room, the Tally Folk all stopped and stared at her because she looked so strange. They had never seen a human before! I found this really funny.

This book is adventurous, funny, and magical … a huge 5 out of 5 stars from me.
